Help Us Grow the Joy: Learn About the Birthday Wishes Impact Council

Birthday Wishes is powered by a small but dedicated team, and we rely on volunteers and community supporters to help us empower caregivers and celebrate children experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity all year long. As our programs continue to grow and the need continues to rise, expanding our community of ambassadors has never been more important.

That’s why we are excited to launch the Birthday Wishes Impact Council. This is a new opportunity for passionate supporters to play a meaningful role in helping us reach more children and families.

The Impact Council will bring together a small group of community ambassadors who care deeply about our mission and want to help Birthday Wishes grow. Members will help raise awareness, introduce new partners, and support fundraising efforts that make our work possible.

This is not a traditional board role, but rather an opportunity to stay connected, share ideas, and help open doors in your community. Whether it’s hosting a small gathering, connecting us with a local business, or helping promote an event, Impact Council members help bring birthday joy to even more children.

Impact Council members will also play an important role in supporting our signature events and community gatherings, including:

• Putts for Presents

• Food, Wine & Wishes

• Confetti & Kindness volunteer family gatherings

• Joy in July and other community-driven initiatives

These events help raise critical funds, build community, and expand awareness so we can continue delivering Birthday-in-a-Box celebrations to children who need them most.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are passionate about supporting children experiencing homelessness

• Enjoy connecting people and building community

• Want to help expand Birthday Wishes’ impact

• Are interested in supporting awareness and fundraising efforts
