Birthday Wishes is proud to be part of the 2025 GenesisHR Battlegreen Run—a beloved local tradition that brings together thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers, and supporters in the spirit of giving and community.
Join our team, Miles for Milestones, and help us reach our collective goal of raising $10,000 to deliver birthday celebrations to children and teens experiencing homelessness.
Whether you’re signing up for the 5K, the “almost” 10K (9.857K), a casual 2K walk, or participating virtually from anywhere—you’ll be helping us spread joy, dignity, and belonging to kids who need it most.

Your Impact
We’re encouraging each team member to consider raising $500–$1,000 as part of their participation. Every dollar helps bring joy, dignity, and a sense of normalcy to children experiencing homelessness.
But these celebrations are about more than just one day.
Our trauma-informed birthday programs work in tandem with the mental health support offered by our 200+ shelter partners, creating safe, meaningful opportunities for families to reconnect, heal, and move forward together. Every party we deliver is thoughtfully designed to nurture resilience, promote emotional well-being, and foster moments of joy and bonding during times of deep uncertainty.
In addition to toys, books, and party supplies, we provide families with the tools to celebrate future milestones—whether academic, developmental, or personal.

Together, our team goal of $10,000 will fund more than 65 full birthday celebrations, along with the books, gift cards, and essentials that create meaningful connection—and spark hope for what comes next.
